Chapter Fifteen
Charlie’s POV
“He is locked up here?, in your house?”
“Not exactly in the house, he is in the dungeons”
I just did not know what to say as I stared at Alexander open mouthed. “dungeons?” I mutter quietly to myself
“Well yes, all packs have some sort of dungeon” he shrugs and stands looking out of one of the bedroom windows.
Alexander did not seem to understand that this was a lot of information to take in for someone that had been kept out of the loop for the last seven nearly eight years of her life.
“Why can I not remember?”
Alexander leans against the wall and crosses hi muscly arms across his chest “That we do not know”
My head was banging and I started to feel sick, pain radiating from my lower stomach “I think I need to see the doctor”
Alexander clears the room quickly and looks closely at me “Are you okay?”

Max’s POVAs I stepped back into Charlies room, it was obvious that there was tension between her and my brother, but something else was different too, Charlie’s scent had grown stronger and I was fighting the urge to grab her and kiss her there and then.Reminding her to breathe, Charlie growls at me as the cold stethoscope touches her back. Alexander’s POVI knew exactly where Damon would take my mate, he would take her back home and treat her as a slave once again. Charlie’s POVThere was very little I could do as he dragged me from my hospital bed, his hand pressed tightly over my mouth, muffling my screams as I tried to fight and get away, he stabbed me in the shoulder with something leaving me in an incredible amount of pain, my body automatically goes limp and no matter how hard I fight it, he flings my unresponsive body over his shoulder and flees the hospital as my eyes drift close.When they eventually open again, they could barely make out anything in the darkness. My mouth was gagged and my broken arm had been bent around my back and bound to my other hand, leaving a shooting pain travelling up my entire arm. Alexander’s POVHe is carrying her once again, why will he not accept that she is mine, not his. Max’s POVIt was obvious Damon had no clue that we already knew about Charlie’s status, what we couldn’t figure out was why he was poisoning her for so long and waited until days before her eighteenth to almost kill her.Alexander was getting frustrated, he could not always read between the lines and would quite often jump to conclusions.Anyway it was time to focus on this woman, what did she know about Charlie. As we descend the second staircase, I try to ignore the smell, I understood why father left it this way because it did bring our captives to tears, most just wanted to escape the smell and would eventually cave.The woman was already screaming and shouting about how it was a disgrace that she had been left in these conditions, how she wanted to speak to whoever was in charge and that she would co-operate as long as she could leave her cell.Again we trade places with the guard who left in a hurry, much like the first one.
