Chapter Twenty-two
Alexander’s POV
He is carrying her once again, why will he not accept that she is mine, not his. A jealous twang hits me hard as I watch her rest her beautiful head against my brothers naked chest, and closes her eyes, why was she so comforted by his touch yet she seemed to recoil when I touch her.
Following them into the hospital he lays her gently on the bed carefully placing her arm down in the sling he had made out of his top and leaves to sort out the x-ray machine.
Charlie thanks me once again for helping her and Max, I wish she knew that I would do it a thousand times over if it meant saving her.
Sitting and watching her for a moment I finally tell her that she is different and she looks at me sceptically and I continue telling her that she is not like the others but I could not muster the courage to tell her about her true heritage of being an Alpha-Luna.
Before I could say anymore I leave as Max comes back in, he raises an eyebrow at

Max’s POVIt was obvious Damon had no clue that we already knew about Charlie’s status, what we couldn’t figure out was why he was poisoning her for so long and waited until days before her eighteenth to almost kill her.Alexander was getting frustrated, he could not always read between the lines and would quite often jump to conclusions.Anyway it was time to focus on this woman, what did she know about Charlie. Alexander’s POVI was more than fuming, I cannot believe she broke my nose, more importantly I could not believe how she broke it. Max’s POVIt was a horrible feeling, having to drug Charlie but it was the only thing that I could think of to stop her making everything explode. Alexander’s POVYes, she was finally coming around and was actually agreeing to go to the party father and I had sorted. It was only going to be a few people anyway, now I knew why she did not do parties, I did not want to push my luck by inviting the whole pack although there is a good chance they will find out anyway. Charlie’s POVI don’t even remember him coming into my room, let alone curling up and sleeping on his lap, but he looked peaceful and I was extremely relaxed which was the first time in a long time that I had felt this way.As I climbed off of Max’s lap I raided the cupboard where he said there were some clothes that I could wear, he had also put in a new pack of underwear for me, it wastoo big but I was still grateful.
