Chapter Fourteen
Max’s POV
Charlie had still been out cold every time I had visited her to change her bandages or her fluids bag and each time I saw her, the emotions I felt were overwhelming, the sparks that flew when I touched her skin were electric, it was like we were somehow already connected but she had yet to meet me.
My mother stopped by the hospital and asked if I would join them for a family dinner, letting me know that Charlie had woken and she would be joining them too. Everything inside me told me to go including my wolf Ripper, he was desperate to be near his mate, but how could we go if she was already mated to my brother?!.
I politely declined my mother and she looked disappointed, I knew exactly why she wanted me to go, to show off the future Alpha and the youngest doctor as well as to show Charlie who had helped save her.
Ripper was literally shouting at me and it was taking a lot to shut him up, he hated the fact I had been so against believing in

Alexander’s POVI was furious, how could she have been pregnant, why did she not save her self for her future husband, for me? As soon as I found out, I left I just could not listen the information about her anymore, my future mate had not saved herself for me and had humped a stupid human being.Max tried calling me back through mind link but I had had enough of this bullshit, she must have been fucked against her will, she just didn’t seem the type to lose her virginity to anyone. Max’s POVAs I stepped back into Charlies room, it was obvious that there was tension between her and my brother, but something else was different too, Charlie’s scent had grown stronger and I was fighting the urge to grab her and kiss her there and then.Reminding her to breathe, Charlie growls at me as the cold stethoscope touches her back. Alexander’s POVI knew exactly where Damon would take my mate, he would take her back home and treat her as a slave once again. I left my brother talking to my father in Charlie’s hospital room, I was not waiting around for them to decide her fate.Leaving, I hop back in my jeep and speed off down the road, screw them, I would find her and save her from her wretched father. Charlie’s POVThere was very little I could do as he dragged me from my hospital bed, his hand pressed tightly over my mouth, muffling my screams as I tried to fight and get away, he stabbed me in the shoulder with something leaving me in an incredible amount of pain, my body automatically goes limp and no matter how hard I fight it, he flings my unresponsive body over his shoulder and flees the hospital as my eyes drift close.When they eventually open again, they could barely make out anything in the darkness. My mouth was gagged and my broken arm had been bent around my back and bound to my other hand, leaving a shooting pain travelling up my entire arm. Alexander’s POVHe is carrying her once again, why will he not accept that she is mine, not his.
