Chapter Seventy-seven
Max’s POV
Damon’s pack had retreated, many had lost their lives from both packs and as the survivors helped the worst wounded, I started to look for Charlie. She was nowhere to be seen along with Alpha Zach, some of the guards inform me that she went inside the packhouse.
Entering the house, there was a lot of commotion and I follow the sound to the bedroom Kiwi was being locked in. The door was wide open and as I stepped through the doorway I was shocked to see Alpha Zach, Kiwi who was sitting up on the floor and Charlie who was holding Damon’s head, blood splattered across her face whilst his body was crumpling to the floor.

Thank you so much for reading everyone, I really appreciate it and would be grateful for any reviews or feedback. I have really enjoyed writing this book and loved every moment of it, but the story is far from over and book two will be coming out soon following Charlie’s quest in finding her hybrid mother and discovering what happens with Alpha Zach as well as what it means to be Queen of the Lycans. Does Charlie find her way back to Max or does she choose Alpha Zach? Will Max stand by his vow? Only time will tell.

Alexander’s POVThe attraction was instant, I could feel every emotion radiating off of her small frame, I wanted to kiss her there and then but as she looked at me, I knew she was not yet eighteen. Charlie’s POV It was almost 7pm and the Royals would be here any minute, I wasn’t sure why they would choose a place like this and not some high end posh place but either way I made sure their table was spotless along with their glasses and cutlery. The King walked in closely followed by the Queen and Prince Alexander who flashed a quick smile at me. Another waiter showed them to their table and introduced me as their server. The King held a chair out for his wife, he was much older than I had imagined, his hair was white and down to his shoulders, with a long white braided beard to match. Alexander’s POV It was odd seeing my beautiful mate as a servant. The only people that should be servants on the lower class. We had many of them in our house, the female omegas would often do a couple of months each when they came of age. I have to admit, I would have fun with some of them, they were so easy to wind up.
