Max’s POV

I was furious, we had been attacked by what I thought to be multiple rogues and instead it turns out to be one of our own. I could not punish Kayla, she wasn’t too know that Charlie was in danger and my brother should of never put her in charge, she was only an omega after all.

Alexander was staring down Kayla like it was her fault this had happened and I could see the fear in her eyes “It’s not her fault little brother”

He turned, glaring at me “Are you being serious right now? Of all the things she had to do, she only had to watch Charlie”

“I did, I promise Alpha, none of us were expecting Harrison to throw out silver. He took down so many in one go and then more came”

“Why didn’t you call out to us?”. Not a single person had reached out to me in any way.
