CHAPTER TEN - NOAH

Sarah, isn't it? Can I talk to you for a moment? " My body froze. I was unresponsive. I didn't know what to do. James was a few feet behind me, but he couldn't see me and I didn't want anything to get out of hand. After all, Noah apparently had contact with those wolves sitting at the other table. And they are crazy hunting me. Surely Noah knew about me. Just as I know about him now.

"Yes, of course. " I confirmed with my head.

Thankfully, the music was loud enough to camouflage our movement. I followed Noah to a door in the back, away from the tables. He opened it and we both came out. He stopped and took a deep breath as he stared at me. I wanted to stay calm, but the situation didn't help, and it filled my nerves.

"How did you know? " I was direct and he raised his eyebrow. He probably thought he had an advantage over me.
