CHAPTER ELEVEN - YOU ARE AMAZING

We walked back to the hotel and I thanked him for dinner. James soon went up the stairs to his room and I to mine without another word. I went in, put my backpack on the side of the bed, and took off my clothes, throwing myself on the bed and staying there until I fell asleep.

I woke up to a light noise coming from the window. I looked up and was surprised to see rain first thing in the morning. For the first time, I stood there in bed just watching. The weather was dark and at least I wasn't going to work. I turned to the side and stretched. On the one hand I would miss getting up, getting ready and going to the cafeteria, because at least I would be busy with something. But on the other hand, I was also grateful. I wouldn't be in so much danger being stuck here.
