I had left that restaurant extremely irritated after I saw that woman. My temper has never changed so much after taking a simple whiff before. That Abell guy had something very strange about it, as Stanley had told me, but that woman...

Amelia, isn't it?

She was alone at that table. Sarah had gone to the bathroom and Stanley ended up leaving to go find her after taking five ages to get back.

That blonde woman looked at me from time to time. His cold blue eyes somehow stirred my wolf in a way I still couldn't tell if it was good or bad.

I looked toward the restrooms for a moment. No sign of either. Abell isn't at her desk either. There's something going on, isn't there?

A minute later I saw Abell walking through the front door of the restaurant. He went to his table and talked with his sister before they hurried out. Her eyes were wide as he grabbed her wrist and practically pulled her away.
