Sarah finally decided to do as I said and ran like never before through the forest. The she-wolf took off like a coppery bolt of lightning without even looking back. And I was much more relieved now. Because luckily she was fast enough to lose them. As for me, what they were going to do now didn't matter. I had been through this before. Not with a sizeable pack like this, but I already knew how things would work out. And Sarah was still their major focus. I would just be an unexpected tool for them to find her.
