CHAPTER EIGHT - THE WOLF'S LIE

"Please understand. " He raised his hands when he saw me.

"What are you"

"I heard the guy at the counter tell you yesterday that they needed one more person to work. He stared at me. That's why I asked yesterday about that girl who quit."

"Never mind! That was a terrible idea! " I whispered through clenched teeth.

"Relax Sarah. I just want to help. I found a great opportunity."

I shook my head negatively and walked past him down the hallway to the locker room. I couldn't believe it.

"Ah Sarah, please... "I heard her footsteps behind me.

"We're going to get caught if we keep this up. You know that, right?" I whispered.

"I told you we won't be caught." He whispered back.

I went into the changing room and left my backpack in the closet. I went to the fitting room to change and put on my uniform before I turned around and flew into his neck. What could I do? He had already been hired by Jake.
