Chapter Seventeen

•KIANA•

The store attendant removed the money for the gadgets from Mr. Aiden's credit card and packed what we bought properly. I tried to collect the package from the attendant but Mr. Aiden stopped me.

"Leave it." He ordered and I stayed rooted to the spot.

"Get that package." He said to one of the guards that accompanied us and the guard did as he said.

"Our job here is done." He uttered and walked out of the store and I immediately followed behind him, trying my best to not get him angry with my walking steps because he got angry at the slightest things.

We got into the car and the guards went into the car that they followed us with.

Mr. Aiden started the car and drove out of the store premises and began driving down a road that was different from the route we took when we were coming. Maybe he's just taking a different route to the Villa?

During the long drive, I must have fallen asleep at some point because when I was woken up and I opened my eyes, I saw that we
