Chapter Seven

"What did you just say?" I asked dumbly, like I didn't hear what he said before.

"You've been making me repeat myself in the last minutes and I don't normally do that." He stated."I said that what if I sent you to college?"

"Wow, do you mean it? This is the first time I'm hearing something like this." I uttered, staring at him with a mixture of shock and disbelief.

"I don't say things that I don't mean." He responded simply.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I had always dreamed of going to college to study English Literature but I discarded that thought because of lack of money. Now, Aiden is offering to send me to college. There's no way I'm refusing that offer.

I looked at him with tears welling up in my eyes.

"Are you serious?" I asked in a whisper.

"Yes bitch, I am!" He snapped and I figured out that he couldn't take any more of my questions.

I turned a deaf ear to what he addressed me as.

"Wow, thank you so much. I don't know how to appreciate you."
