Chapter Thirteen

"Close your mouth and stop gaping like a fish. You look like you just saw a ghost." He said and I snapped my mouth close in embarrassment. I see a hint of a smile on his face but I must have been hallucinating because this man has never smiled in front of me, never. And I doubt if he has ever smiled in his life.

I've had more embarrassing moments these past few minutes than I've ever had in my life. I think I should get out of here.

"Can I go now, Sir?" I asked as politely as I could.

"Did I give you the permission to go? You'll be sitting there till I tell you to go." He replied and I groaned.

"Why should I sit here when I don't have anything to do?" I grumbled under my breath but he seemed to have heard me.

"Did you say something?" He asked, staring at me and I quickly shook my head in denial.

"Me? I would never." I said immediately.

"I thought as much." He said in a clipped tone and faced his work once again. Oh my gosh, what's my purpose of being in this o
