She looked up at them with bright blue eyes, her pendant glowing. She was shaking violently, and the tree behind her split in half as she growled. She looked like she was forcing herself not to shift. The pack members were terrified by what would come next.
“What’s wrong with her?” Wyatt had asked, standing beside his Alpha. As the Enforcer, he had to be front and centre.
“She’s trying to keep herself from hurting you,” Cain explained.
Rolf scoffed. “As if she could hurt us!”
“Please don’t test her!” Cassidy pleaded when Calypso’s eyes brightened.
“I’m not afraid of a tiny little girl like her!” Rolf spat angrily. Calypso growled loudly, half shifting as her golden fur shimmered a little in the light.
