Ch 95 - You're Family
Jeremiah felt like his life stood still. For the first time since his father has said it, it settled on him that his son was gone, but what his mate was saying terrified him even more. He knew many people with blue eyes, but none like Calypso and his son.
“The girl had blue eyes like Xavier’s?” he questioned.
“She told me what you did to her. They told me that they had you held hostage, and when I tried to protect Xavier, her mate knocked me out. When I woke up, Xavier was gone,” she explained.
Jeremiah’s head was spinning as he tried to make sense of what she was saying. According to her, Calypso and Killian had come to fetch Xavier, and they did so while they had him hostage, and yet all he could remember was coming to the castle straight from the wedding.
Nothing made sense to him.
However, how else would his mate have known about Calypso if she wasn’t telling the truth?
