CHAPTER 2

Hazel’s POV

A severe pain in my body woke me up.

Peter didn’t spare me this time. He used everything he could get his hands on. I was a little bit surprised he didn’t kill me this time.

I knew I made a mistake, but did I really deserve to be beaten almost to death just because I spilled a little bit of water on his mate?

Well, yes. The answer was yes. I was nothing. I was no one. I was a pathetic Omega who couldn't even shift. I couldn’t even talk to my wolf. I wasn’t even sure if I had one.

I wanted to groan, but my throat was so dry that I couldn't even do that. I tried to turn my head a little, but it hurt. Everything hurt.

“Wake up,” someone said sternly.

I didn’t recognize the voice. Who was that?

The voice made my heart skip a beat. But the voice trembled slightly and I could hear anger in it.

“Wake the fuck up,” the voice repeated a little bit louder.

I flinched a little and forced my eyes to open. The first thing I saw was a grey ceiling and it confused me completely. It wasn’t moldy and there were no droplets of water dripping down on me. Did Peter put me in a new cell? But we didn’t have cells like this.

“Wake up, slut,” another voice said and I could hear annoyance in it.

Slut?

The other voice made me shiver. I wanted the person to speak again. I wanted to hear it again. I wanted to hear both voices again.

But the anger in them confused me. Why were they angry? Who were they?

I somehow managed to lift my head a little bit. I was definitely in a new cell. This cell looked brand new. It was a huge improvement from every other cell Peter always put me in. But where was it? We didn’t have cells like that. Where was I?

“Come on, slut,” the first voice said angrily. “We don’t have all day.”

Fear made my stomach twist.

I forced myself to turn my head to my left. The first thing I saw was their feet. I slowly started to look up and my heart almost stopped beating when my eyes finally met theirs.

I didn’t have a connection with my wolf, but I knew who those men were.

“Mates,” I mumbled quietly, making them both narrow their eyes at me.

No. It wasn’t possible. I was nothing. I was no one. I was an Omega who didn’t deserve a mate. I was too weak and too pathetic to belong to someone. I was nothing. I was better off dead than alive.

But I somehow had two mates. They were right there in front of me. I could see them. I could smell them. Their scents made my body shiver and my palms burn with the need to touch them. The pain in my body lessened because of their presence and I felt a small spark of hope in my heart.

Were they here to save me? Would they take me away? Was the torture over?

“What’s your name?” one of them asked, making my whole body tremble.

His voice made me feel safe.

“Hazel,” I said as I forced myself to sit up.

The pain made me groan. I felt bile rising and burning the pack of my throat. I felt like every bone in my body was broken. I wrapped my arm around my stomach and leaned against the cold wall behind me. I sighed and closed my eyes for a second.

“Welcome to your new prison, Hazel,” one of my mates said, making me open my eyes abruptly. “This cell is a big upgrade from the one we found you in.”

My heart stopped beating. New prison?

“Your former Alpha and Luna are dead,” the other one said. “Most of your pack is dead actually. Will you miss any of those men you fucked?”

My eyes widened and my stomach twisted painfully. Patrick and Maria were dead? What about Peter and Jessica?

“I think she will, Aiden,” my other mate snickered, his voice laced with anger. “She lost all of her customers.”

My customers? What was he talking about?

“She looks a bit confused, Elijah,” the man on the left sighed. “Maybe you should explain it to her.”

I closed my eyes and shook my head a little. I needed to focus. I didn’t understand what was going on. I opened my eyes and saw them looking at me with so much hate. My heart broke. My soul left my body.

“You will spend the rest of your life locked up in this cell,” the man called Elijah said. “The Goddess was cruel and decided to give you to us. Neither I nor my brother want you as mate, but unfortunately, we can’t kill you.”

I felt my heart fall into a deep, dark hole.

Of course they didn’t want me. Why would they? I was nothing. I was no one. I was a filthy Omega who deserved to die.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek.

“Jessica told us the truth about you,” the other man said. “She told us what a slut you were. She told us about all the men you fucked.”

I looked at him, but I didn’t say a word. There was no point. He wouldn’t believe me. They wouldn’t believe me. Jessica was the future Luna. I was a filthy Omega they found in a cell. Of course they believed her. Nothing I said or did would change their minds.

Maybe it was for the better. I didn’t deserve to have a mate, let alone two.

I closed my eyes and forced myself to swallow the bile in my throat.

“Now you get to spend the rest of your life here,” one of them spoke, but I didn’t care who. “You get to feel us fuck Jessica. You get to experience the pain we felt when we found out our mate was a fucking whore.”

“If you behave, we might even get you a bed,” the other one added.

I kept my eyes closed, wishing that my heart would just stop beating. I wanted to die. I wanted the pain to end. I didn’t even want to imagine how it was going to hurt when they touched and kissed her. I didn’t want to know. I wanted to die before it happened.

“You don’t have anything to say?” one of them asked.

I opened my eyes and looked at them.

“Kill me,” I said quietly. “We didn’t mark each other. It will only hurt for a little bit. Kill me.”

Both of them flinched and clenched their fists.

“And miss the opportunity to hear you scream as we fuck Jessica?” the man on the right snickered. “That is never going to happen. I might even bring Jessica here so you can watch.”

I didn’t respond. I closed my eyes and leaned my head against the cold wall. It didn’t matter. I would find a way to die. I would find a way to get out of here.

“Let’s get out of here,” one of them said. “I am sick of looking at her.”

I gulped and pressed myself closer to the wall. They weren’t moving for a few moments, but then I finally heard their footsteps walking away.

I broke as soon as I couldn’t hear them anymore. I let the tears fall. I let my body slide to the ground. I let my heart shatter into a million tiny pieces.
