Chapter 21

Everly faced Kelly at the back of that same alley that she was awfully familiar with. So many things had happened in this alleyway, the irony where she came here once more. 

"Everly, I am so happy that you invited me. But, why the alley?" Kelly asked, flashing her a cheerful smile.

Everly looked at that same cheerful smile she seen at the bus stop, it was so similar yet this one was so fake.

Tilting her head, Everly spread the same yet fake innocent smile at her, "I know what you did, Kelly."

Kelly cocked an eyebrow, crossing her arm in front of her chest, "What are you saying? I don't understand."

Everly dropped her smile and took a step closer to her, "You killed Claire's parents."

"This isn't funny, Everly," Kelly's heart dropped but still put up a strong front.

Everly placed one hand on her shoulder and whispered in her ear, "I also know you plotted against me with Edward Gilderson, you plan to take my magic."
