Chapter 12
Everly is not going to lie, she imagined being treated as a hero along with Blaze and Pluto when they sent the kids back and have them reunited with their families. She also imagined being thanked and appreciated for what they did.
She thought of a lot of things.
She also imagined that things might not turn out well when they initiate their plan. She might die, Pluto might die, Blaze might die. They might all die, being sold or something bad might happened to them once they were found and ends up being one of the captives like the kids.
Everly thought of a lot of things.
However...
She did not expect to be treated poorly when they reached the town with the kids, especially with Pluto.
"Give us our kids back!"
"You guys are kidnappers!"
They didn't even have a chance to explain. As soon as they laid eyes on Pluto, they immediately started a riot.
