Ch 58 - Austin
Her fingers strayed to her lips and she let her thoughts wander off, thinking about whether or not Killian was right. Was she ready to move on from Channing? Was she ready to accept her fate? To accept her son’s fate?
For the first time in days, she let herself just think.
She hadn’t thought of everything happening around her, and she definitely hadn’t truly thought about what the future had in store for her. While she knew that being a golden wolf was a big deal, she’d never really thought about what it meant, and now that she’d learnt the truth about her destiny, she wasn’t sure that she was ready to accept it all.
But she wasn’t the only one affected. While she wanted to think about her future, she also had to think about Aiden and Killian. Aiden’s life had changed the moment he shifted. Killian on the other hand, had been bestowed with a great responsibility.
And they both needed her.
