Chapter Seven

I was currently in the kitchen trying to see if I could make something to eat. Back at the pack, I didn't have the luxury to eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted it but seeing as I'm with Nikolai now, I plan to make use of every opportunity I'm presented with.

“What are you doing?" Someone said from behind me. I grabbed the knife next to me and turned around to see who it was. It was a man with discoloured eyes and tattoos over his whole chest. He was shirtless and I narrowed my eyes so as to blur out his naked body part.

"Who are you?” I asked the man dropping the knife next to me but still letting my hand linger on it. He leaned against the kitchen counter and picked up an apple, sinking his teeth deep inside it.

"You're not scared, are you?” He asked, raising a brow.

“Not at all. I doubt this place would be easy to infiltrate so you must be one of his own,” I explained. The man nodded then without warning threw his half eaten apple at me. I dodged just in time and glared at him.
