Chapter #52

As I waited for Lara, I noticed a woman rushing down the corridor towards me. She was juggling a file in one hand and a phone in the other, her conversation sounding urgent. As she neared, she spotted me and waved me over.

As I stood alone in the corridor, a wave. She paused and asked the me. "Excuse me,who are you? And what are you doing here?"

The woman looked at me, a hint of surprise in her eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry. I should have introduced myself. I'm the new junior designer," I explained, in tone apologetic.

She then held out the file towards me again. "Okay, I need you to take this file to Madam Victoria. It's urgent," she said, her voice laced with urgency. I hesitated

"What are you waiting for? It's urgent," she said, thrusting the file towards me.

I hesitated, glancing back at the door Lara had disappeared through. Lara had explicitly told me to stay put. But the woman in front of me seemed desperate,

"I...uh...Lara told me to wait here," I stammered, unsure of what to do.
