Charlie’s POVThere was very little I could do as he dragged me from my hospital bed, his hand pressed tightly over my mouth, muffling my screams as I tried to fight and get away, he stabbed me in the shoulder with something leaving me in an incredible amount of pain, my body automatically goes limp and no matter how hard I fight it, he flings my unresponsive body over his shoulder and flees the hospital as my eyes drift close.When they eventually open again, they could barely make out anything in the darkness. My mouth was gagged and my broken arm had been bent around my back and bound to my other hand, leaving a shooting pain travelling up my entire arm. Max’s POVIt was obvious Damon had no clue that we already knew about Charlie’s status, what we couldn’t figure out was why he was poisoning her for so long and waited until days before her eighteenth to almost kill her.Alexander was getting frustrated, he could not always read between the lines and would quite often jump to conclusions.Anyway it was time to focus on this woman, what did she know about Charlie. As we descend the second staircase, I try to ignore the smell, I understood why father left it this way because it did bring our captives to tears, most just wanted to escape the smell and would eventually cave.The woman was already screaming and shouting about how it was a disgrace that she had been left in these conditions, how she wanted to speak to whoever was in charge and that she would co-operate as long as she could leave her cell.Again we trade places with the guard who left in a hurry, much like the first one.

Alexander’s POV I was more than fuming, I cannot believe she broke my nose, more importantly I could not believe how she broke it. Max’s POVCharlie went into denial mode but not before calling me every single bad name under the sun. Everything in the room had rattled and she told me to get out. I could see she was fighting back tears, her beautiful blue grey eyes were swimming in them but she refused to let them spill over whilst I was stood there.I tried to talk to her and she just shouted at me telling me to leave again.
