Luck worked in her favor, and her boss gave her two days off.

"I hope you didn't convince him the way you convinced me." Mahendra laughed.

Subhadra smacked him on his shoulder.

"What if I said I did?" She asked teasingly.

"Well first, I wouldn't believe you. But, if we're being hypothetical, then, I would kill your boss and then, I would punish you real good, baby."

Subhadra laughed.

"You're insane, but you're mine."

"Damn straight."

The train ride was overnight, so they both had slept through it, and now they were at the hotel. They thought of booking separate rooms because of the eyes of the society, but Subhadra had told Mahendra to book one room, so that was what he did.

To hell with the society. They knew what they were doing. Others were irrelevant.

As Subhadra took out clothes from her bag, Mahendra could only stare at her in awe. He loved her so much. She had gotten a tattoo of his name on her heart, for god sake. He truly couldn't express in words how much she meant him. He
