That night, Mahendra ended up dropping Subhadra at her house.

The following morning, Subhadra woke up to the mailman ringing her doorbell.

She signed the form and took her mail. Some of it was spam, but one was in a thick envelope.

She opened it and found a wedding card.

'Vikram Satkar weds Nehra Trivedi.'

She didn't know what to feel, but one feeling was apparent. Relief. She was also happy for the both of them. Somewhere, in the deep corner of her heart, she felt a bit of sadness, but that was natural. Everything had worked out for the best.

She immediately got a phone call. It was Nehra.

"Hello Nehra. I see everything worked out."

Nehra's voice was delighted.
