Before I could speak. Maliya was forced to butt in, her facial expression changing.

“Please listen," She said to me. She looked like she was desperate and wanted to convince me of something so I let her speak. I didn't know what had happened or why she sounded the way she did.

“I’m not here to fight you, but to beg," She said and I looked at her confused.

Beg me? What would she need to beg me for?

Is this a trap they made for me? I stared at her suspiciously while she spoke.

“Something happened in the merge, and it forced me to come looking for you," Maliya said and I wondered what had happened.

Danica said the same thing to me the last time we met but I said I had no reason to listen to her.

And I thought it wasn't really serious but for Maliya to come looking for me… .

Did something serious really happen and I didn't know? What could have happened?
