Danica walked into the room, standing beside me.

“How do you two know about Greta when we have been trying to keep it lowkey?” Yeran asked, he seemed suspicious of me and I couldn't blame him.

I looked at him, and my answer came immediately.

“That's not important. What is important right now is trying to restore Daciana back to her full health before Greta decides to attack again. If we are unable to do that, then it's of no use, the lycan territory wouldn't be able to stand a chance without that” I told them.

“Even though Batya is my daughter, she also has another mother. Is it okay if Batya does the rituals?” Daciana said, her last question was directed at me and I was surprised that she wanted to ask me.

Arnou looked angry that Daciana has asked me, ge still hated me for taking his daughter away and calling me her mother didn't sit well with him.

He wanted to speak but he looked at Daciana then kept his mouth shut, his love for his wife wouldn't let him say anything to oppose her.
