Author’s POV

COM’s management camp was a success. The students and some Instructors are currently returning from the camp.

“Hey, just wondering, where did you go yesterday?” Meghan. As usual, she and Maxine are next to each other again.

“I did go for a walk. How many times did you ask that yesterday?” said Maxine. She didn’t bother to glance at her.

“Ha! You’re hiding something, I knew it,” Meghan said unconvinced.

“You’re just overthinking.” Maxine leaned back in the chair and decided to take a nap.

“No---.”

“Shhh! I’m going to sleep,” She interrupted by what Meghan going to say.

“I hate you,” Meghan simply said, rolling her eyes.

“The feeling is mutual.” She joked. Even she herself thought about the guy who saved her. He seems to be mysterious.

Their first meeting with the young man had not gone well. She immediately judged him because of the arrogance he showed. But with what he did to save her yesterday, there is no denying that he has a good heart despite his brusqueness and a
