SALLY

Although Alex had a frown on his face when he walked in, I still ignored him. After I heard his door close, I placed my finger on my jaw and wondered what the issue was.

Alexander looked disturbed and bothered. He didn't seem okay. He probably got stressed from work.

I relaxed back in the chair and crossed my legs. The plate of chin chin in front of me had gone halfway. I picked from it and began to chew as I continued enjoying my movie.

Just then, I heard the doorbell ring. I looked around, and there was no maid close by. I stood up, about to walk towards the door, when I saw a maid rush downstairs and hurried to the door.

I stood there for a second. I bent over to pick up my pillow so I would relax back when I began to hear raised voices.

It sounded like Beverly. My heart sank, but I didn't know the reason. I decided to see for myself what was going on.

Maybe Alexander asked his maids to stop my visitors from entering the house. I would deal mercilessly with
