I parked my car and alighted. I saw James helping Sally walk into the mansion. I wondered where they were coming from.

I had already warned Sally for the last time to stay away from him so I wouldn't tell her again.

I didn't bother to cast them another look as I just walked straight to my room. I was pissed but that was all. There was nothing I could do about what was going on out there.

I wished that I could beat James up, but I knew I had to let them be.

"Your food is ready, sir," my chief chef came to inform me later that night.

I nodded and told her to serve my dinner in my room. I ended up taking only a few spoons before calling her to come clear the table.

After that, I walked to my bed and slept off.
