RECOMMENDED SONG: Everything I wanted By Billie Eilish ~❤️

_TREVISAN MANSION_

Inside the mansion, an awkward atmosphere kept going as Beta Celeb shrieked eventually in astonishment from a corner of the room. His poker-faced Alpha was now drawing a portrait in an extremely wistful mood. His brows were furrowed in dissatisfaction as he seemed extremely disappointed in his own drawing skill. After leaving numerous scratches over the piece of paper, he gritted his teeth harder and rumbled in a hectic manner,

" Shit! I should have enhanced my drawing skill. Now what to do?"

Celeb became dumbfounded observing this man quietly as his brain couldn't comprehend those thoughts on that he was mumbling. Last night, Celeb went to bed for a placid sleep after that vile alpha was punished dreadfully and then was kicked away in his territory. But his beauty sleep couldn't last any longer as Damien summoned him urgently at midnight. He assumed something urgent had cropped up thus immediately sprinted to him.

But it was just a ludicrous conjecture!

Since the last twilight, his alpha was endeavouring hard to draw a portrait that didn't satisfy his expectations till the dawn. He continued his drawing and compelled Celeb to loiter at a corner. Damien couldn't wait any longer to finish it off as he aspired to his intention. Till now, he didn't let Celeb take a glimpse of what he was drawing.

Celeb, his most obedient slave didn't even dare to make a slight movement as he was well cognizant of Damien's rage. He could be your redeemer or your demise just in a word.

After carrying out the final touch up, Damien shot a stiff gaze at Caleb and reluctantly clipped off his drawing. He could effortlessly detect the enthusiastic impatience in Celeb's eyes thus didn't intend to hide it from him anymore.

Damien tossed the drawing at him before his way of leaning against his rattan chair. Celeb who instantly attempted to clutch the paper finally got a chance to move from his spot. His soul almost departed from his body when he nearly failed to clasp the drawing paper.

With an enormous conundrum in his mind, Celeb slowly unfolded the paper before becoming frozen in his place. His jaws dropped along with dilating his eyes in disbelieve.

He blinked a couple of moment before scanning the artwork deeply. It was the face of a woman lying down under a tree shutting off her elegant eyes in sleep. Even from his miserable sketch, Celeb could infer that the woman was incredibly gorgeous. But the most disquieting part was that it was nearly impossible to decipher her exact facial appearance because of his hopeless drawing skill.

With a mountain of inquisitiveness, Celeb looked up at his Alpha for querying who was then playing with a paperweight in his hand. Damien even didn't bother to look up at Caleb and spitted out two brief words,

" Find her! "

Celeb wished to moan badly but he had no tears for a cry.

How could he locate a woman from this poor sketch?

He badly wanted to protest his words but Damien's sharp words thunderously slapped on his face,

" Find her from anywhere in the world! "

Celeb gulped back his unspoken words and looked through Damien's expression deeply. He had never seen Damien making an order to locate a woman so far. From his intense observant expression, Celeb could ostensibly sense the importance of this woman in Damien's mind.

Celeb's wolf eyes abruptly sparked up as his mind became jubilant.

Were they finally going to get a Luna? But how could Damien accept her without a mate bond?

Whatever the circumstances were, Celeb was too cheerful to express his inner exhilaration thus continued contemplating at his own spot. The man on the chair glanced up at his startling expression and narrowed his gaze further.

With a bang, the paperweight was hurled in front of Celeb's feet as he jolted in panic before rapidly coming back to his sense. Damien grimaced his lips together as his harsh tongue buzzed across the space,

" Find her within three days, Celeb or else present yourselves towards my Vampire pets."

Celeb's mouth instantly agaped with incredulity as he hastily scurried away out of his room after clutching the raw sketch pretty hard.

The glint of Damien's red eyes dimmed a little as he hauled up his body lazily from his chair. Walking beside the transparent window that was obscured by the branches spreading around, his gaze looked deep through the jungle ending over the wild river behind.

No one knew what was he thinking but his heart was never at ease after the last night.

•••••••••••••••••••

Birds squawked in fear and took off from the trees as two running wolves entered into the dense area of the forest. A brown wolf ran wildly tumbling over the fallen leaves, torn stuff and harsh pebbles carelessly. His brown eyes reflected a determination to gain a victory in this race thus his surrounding was non-existent inside his mind. His sharp daggers like canines were exposed outside which solely reflexed his cruelness. Comparing to his intense demonic presence, the girl running with the same pace beside him seemed more vibrant as her boisterous chuckle buzzed across the branches of the empty forest.

She had no intention of beating this race but watching the wolf's cloudy face gave her quite a bit of elation.

As the two running figures were traversing through the amidst of trees at a speed of light, the other animals didn't dare to intervene on them. They clearly knew who they were. When the woman once again laughed victoriously, the brown wolf beside her snarled angrily and took another hefty jump ahead.

His claws left remarkable imprints over the turf as he continued galloping desperately. Unfortunately, no matter how promptly he ran or jumped, his paces weren't enough to be compared with the running girl beside her. She was running just like a choppy horse as her messy hairs fluttered up in the air.

After a long exhausting race, their ride had come to an end at the brink of Rainham Mountain. The stream hummed rhythmically as it continued passing by under the edge of the mountain. Though the sun was up in the sky, the weather in this area had always been a little stiff and cloudy. Rains made its arrival occasionally without any prior notice and poured its blessing over the trees.

Viona chuckled once again as her upper body leant down in weariness. Plopping her hands on her knees, she turned her face around to inspect the wolf who had already turned into his human form.

Viona simpered mockingly as she saw his brother walking over to her gloomily. Letting out a long sigh, she peacefully confronted the steady breeze and mocked at her brother,

" Oh Brian, you should stop vying with me for God's sake. You never win still insist on running this race."Brain angrily puffed his cheeks and growled,

" Huuh. Let's again have a fair competition tomorrow. I was distracted today."

Fiona rolled her eyes in a sarcastic manner and responded while struggling to mend her messy hairs,

" Oh come on, this would be the hundredth times that you are reciting the same phrase. Whatever you know, I never turn down your proposal. Let's race again tomorrow and we will continue running until you win."

Viona uttered before shooting a warm glare towards her brother who was disappointed about his lose in the race. Instead of being delighted, Brian conveyed an intense glare that transmitted a deep affection towards his sister who never showed off her own powers over him. Even though she knew that she was far more outstanding in powers than him, she never bragged it in front of him. This little gesture from her honestly touched the core of his heart forever. He knew that no matter what laid between them, Viona would always come first to safeguard him from any dangers.

Brian exhaled a long breath as his brown eyes confronted her golden ones. Snickering warmly, Brian unexpectedly changed the topic of their conversation and asserted,

" Then.. Should I hope that my sister will hear my every request?"

Viona nodded her head firmly as she failed to notice the paradox behind his tongue and relished the billow of the cold breeze mildly blowing over her face.

Brian's face instantly lit up in contentment and seized this opportunity to haggle with her,

" Then I want you to join the next mate ball Viona, will you?"

Almost instantly, the expression of elation faded away from her face and it became replaced by the darkness. Her eyes quivered a little in bitterness before shooting his brother a death glare. Squeezing her lips together in anger, she could only spout out his name harshly,

" Brian!!!! "

Brian jolted in his spot when he looked through the fury in her eyes. Mustering up the courage once again, he rebuked logically,

" You said that you will fulfil my every request, Vi. I never compelled you, did I? But I can't withstand the gossips revolving around you anymore. Have you ever seen the way other pack members look at you? They might not dare to spit out anything in front of us but they secretly chortle at yourself, Viona. Above all, a mate is something crucial that we can't deny. We are born with this destiny. Please Vi, just join this year. At least for me."

The rage inside her thawed like water as soon as she met Brian's anxious eyes. She knew that Brian had always favoured her unruly character and never showed any contempt towards her like her own father. She could revolt against her own father but Brian and Steven were always her weak spots.

After gently nudging her bottom lips, she squeezed her eyes tightly and inhaled a deep breath to keep away the vague memories that kept haunting her emotions relentlessly.

After a lot of battles inside her heart, Viona responded like a whisper,

" All right. Just for this one. After this mate ball, you will never ask me to join anymore Brian."
