Chapter 94: Somewhere

Logan’s pov

When I got home my father immediately came to my side worried.

“What happened? Where is Charlotte? Why did you bring her with you?” he asked me.

“Father I think there is a few things you need to know,” I said.

We went to his office, and I told him everything, I told him everything I remembered.

“What? So back then you did that?” he asked me, and I nodded.

“Then why didn’t you stay with her? Why not stay and try to fix your mistakes?” he asked me.

“Because she didn’t want to, she wanted me to come back home.

We are in this situation because I didn’t respect her decisions back then,

I marked her forcefully,” I said and paused.

I feel like I am going to cry, so I took a deep breath and looked at my father.

“And now you wanted to respect her decision, I understand that” he said and patted my shoulder.

I looked around and remembered something, would he believe me if I told him the truth?

“I think you should make Elena the future Alpha Queen,” I said, and he looked at me.

“Elena is a good option; she is strong and intelligent. But son only you would make a great Alpha King,” he said, and I shook my head.

“No, I won’t father, I don’t want to, and I don’t deserve that,” I said to him.

While on the way I kept thinking about what I did back then.

Why did I do that?

I realized that I was a lot like how Justice is now.

My brother ha been doing all of this so he could be the Alpha King.

He has done bad things just so he could get what he wanted.

Which is what I did back then.

So, if Justice doesn’t deserve to be Alpha King then why would I?

I don’t even want to be Alpha King;

I never did but she does.

“Elena has always loved the title, she used to call herself Alpha Queen,” I said, and father chuckled. “

We had to call her that for months,” he said, and I nodded.

“But she then grew up and decided she wanted nothing to do with it,” father added.

“But it was for our sake, she saw Justice and me always fighting and didn’t want to be a part of it,” I said, and father nodded.

“But then what is your solution? Do you think your brother will let her be?” father asked me, and I shook my head.

“I know he won’t, and even as much as it kills me I think it’s time I out an end to my older brother,” I said, and father looked at me confused.

“You will kill your older brother; I won’t let him happen. At the end of the day, he is still my son,” Father said, and I nodded.

“I am aware, but I will not kill him. He is still my brother as well, but he will be punished and locked away for what he did,” I said, and he frowned.

“What did he do?” Father asked me.

“Charlotte believes that he killed mother, I don’t know why she thinks so, but she told me that herself,” I explained to him.

“But why? Why would she think that?” father asked.

“Think about it, he was there when mom died. And he said the Vampire King killed her,” I said, and father nodded.

“The man we met wouldn’t have a reason to kill your mother. But why would your brother?” father asked me.

 The truth is I wish I had the answer to his question.

I wish I knew why our mother had to die but I have an idea.  

But I will find out the truth, “let’s test out if it’s true,” I said and left his office.

I found Sasha sitting alone In the library.

Her eyes landed on me, and she smirked.

“did she reject you? Of course, she is the type to go from one powerful man after another,” she said.

I sat down next to her, I looked at her which seemed to shock her for a second.

“Now tell me the truth, did you help Justice to kill my mother?” I asked her.

Her eyes went wide telling me that she knows what I am talking about.

“I don’t know what you are talking about,” she said, and I scoffed.

“Fine I will take that as a yes, we have evidence about my brother. You do know that helping kill the Queen Luna is punishable by death?” I asked her.

She got up fuming, “what are you talking about? I didn’t help him do anything, he killed his mother all on his own.

She found out that he had rejected Clara and wanted to take away his title.

I had nothing to do with it, I only found out a few weeks ago. I did nothing wrong,” Sasha said.

“Well then, I want you to repeat those words in front of the elders,” my father said coming in.

Sasha’s eyes went wide when she realized that I tricked her into ruining her partner.

A few days passed and Justice punished for killing our mother and Elena finally got the title.

“Brother do you have to leave? Don’t you want to stay for some time and hear if they will be able to break the curse?” Elena asked me.

“I am sure they will break the curse, just call me, and let me know. I need to reflect on a few things, don’t worry about me,” I said.

I got to my car and drove off; I want to find myself.

I want to find out what it is that I truly want.

The world is huge, there is something out there for me right?
