Chapter 92: Severing

Sebastian’s pov

For centuries I had to watch the woman I love die countless times.

I couldn’t save her so many times that it felt as if I would just die.

I longed to see her face, I just wanted her to live even if it wasn’t with me.

She suffered and the man who is responsible for all of this Is standing in front of me.

I don’t care that he is crying and seem remorseful, but he made my life a living hell.

Does he even know the things I had to go through?

Living and trying to search for answers but not finding anything at all.

All the questions that plagued my mind for over a millennia and it was all because of him.

“I am the reason she got cursed,” he said again his eyes on the ground.

“Wait? So, he is the villain in you two’s love story?” Clara asked looking at her Alpha Prince.

I got up to punch him, but Scarlet held my hand and I looked at her.

Why didn’t she have hate in her eyes for him?

Why doesn’t she hate him for everything she had to go through because of him?

“Why are you stopping me?

He is the reason that everything ended up the way it did.

He is the reason we couldn’t be together,” I said, and she smiled.

She kissed my cheek, “and because of the curse I got to be reborn so many times,” she said with tears in her eyes.

“I have so many memories of so many different lives.

Some were shorter than others, but they had really memorable moments,” she said and then looked at her brother.

“I got to know that little monkey, I got to be his big sister and I have so many fond memories with my family,” she said and chuckled.

“I got to meet Alexa, my amazing sister whom I love more than anything,” she said and then looked at Logan.

“And because of the curse I got to meet you Logan, I got to know you. And I know that you are not Logan,” she said and then held Logan’s hand.

Why?

Why isn’t she angry with him?

Why doesn’t she hate him?

Why is she only looking at the good and not the bad?

“He is not Damon, just the same way I am not any of those other people,” Charlotte said.

“My reincarnates have done bad things as well in the past, should I be punished for that?

As Charlotte I haven’t done anything that warranties the curse,” she said and then looked at me.

“I lived all my life thinking about how unfair it is that I was cursed for someone else’s mistakes. Now do you expect me to do the same to him?” she asked me.

I looked at Logan.

I know he isn’t like his brother but just the mere fact.

Just the mere fact that he has the same face and the memories of the man that took away my Scarlett from me.

But she is right, but how do I just forgive and forget all my pain.

“It’s okay Logan, I forgive you,” she said to him, and he nodded and started sobbing.

She hugged him, it’s her decisions since she was the one he wronged and marked forcefully.

When she pulled away from him he started screaming in pain, hell they both started screaming in pain.

“What’s happening? Is something wrong?” I asked Charlotte who couldn’t answer me.

I noticed something; they were both holding their necks.

“Isn’t that the spot where the blood mark is?” I asked.

Clara nodded, “yes, that’s the exact spot,” she said and then showed us her mate mark.

“What do we do? What should we do?

She did the same thing that night, the night where everyone turned against her,” May said.

We were all frozen and didn’t know what to do.

We didn’t even understand what is happening between them.

“That’s a mate mark, its appearing on both of them,” David said, and I looked at Charlotte.

The two of them had stopped screaming and then just fainted out of the blue.

“This, I have seen this before, but I am not sure if it’s what I think it is,” Clara said.

“What do you think it is?” I asked her and frowned.

“It usually happens when the mate bond is being severed, when the bond between two people comes to an end,” she said.

“But the mark is appearing on them now, they weren’t mated before,” Alexa said.

“They were the basis of the curse was the mate bond.

That old bond is resurfacing now and if what she is saying is true then it’s being severed,” May explained.

“Being severed if what you are guys are saying is true then why? Why is it suddenly being severed?” David asked.

A really good question really, why now?

They didn’t do anything to sever the mate bond so why?
