EMILY As I slowly regained consciousness, the darkness of the room enveloped me, with only one light reflecting from the little window. I looked around trying to remember all that happened.My head throbbed with pain, and I felt disoriented. Panic washed over me as I tried to move, only to realize that I was tightly bound to a chair.
