Sianna's POV
"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!" I can't believe you're going to marry none other than the world's most eligible bachelor, Aldrich Lionel."
Lily, my best friend, screamed. She has gone completely insane since I informed her of the news.
"I am not marrying him willingly. My father is emotionally blackmailing me into doing this."
I've been trying to tell her this for the past hour, but she's too excited to listen.
"Sianna, you are the luckiest girl in the world because you will have the opportunity to not only see, but also touch, love, and fuck that irresistibly hot man," she said dreamily.
"Shut up, Miss Lillian Simons, and pay attention to what I'm saying or I'll kick you out of this house right now," I sneered at her.
"Oh! "I'm sorry," she said sheepishly, raising her hands in surrender, "I forgot everything in the excitement of your marriage with the hot..." One of my glares was enough to cause her to pause mid-sentence.
She gulped in fear and gave her most endearing smile to me. She is my best friend from school, with whom I share everything. Even though we don't have the same preferences when it comes to boys, we can't keep anything from each other."I came here for you to suggest some solutions to my problem, but you're not even willing to listen to me," I grumbled, irritated by her irrational behavior.
"Sorry, I was taken away," she apologized, her face flushed. "So, what were you saying?"
"I was saying that my father wants me to marry Aldrich Lionel in front of his eyes, and I don't even like seeing that guy, let alone marrying him." Our marriage will never work. You already know how much I despise him. I tried to persuade my father, but he is not willing to listen to me. "I'm not sure how I'm going to save myself from that jerk," I explained.
"Hmm, so that's the issue... let me think about it," she said, rubbing her chin.
"Yes, please!"
She jumped at her desk as if she had come up with a brilliant idea, but she sat back down as quickly as she jumped.
Urgh!
"Idea," she said, snapping her fingers.
My gaze was drawn to her.
"Your father can't force you to marry him if you're already married," she chuckled, "so marry your boyfriend."
My mouth dropped open and my eyes widened. Has she gone insane?
"Oh! Sorry... "I forgot you were single," she says, biting her tongue. "For that, you must first find a boy and then marry him."
"Is there anything else?" I inquired.
She requested one more minute.
"Idea!" She jumped once more. "This is going to work two hundred percent," she exclaimed, her eyes twinkling with delight.
"What?"
"Tell your father you're homosexual," she said triumphantly, grinning from ear to ear.
"Then he'll force me to marry you, and instead of that jerk, you'll be standing in court with me, signing marriage papers," I wailed.
"NO!" Her eyes widened in horror, and she immediately shook the thought from her mind.
"Then you only have one choice," she explained.
"What?" I inquired.
"Runaway"
"What!"
"Get out of here as soon as possible."
I yelled, "Get out!"
"Huh?" Her brow furrowed.
"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, irritated by her pointless ideas.
"If you're forgetting, Miss Sianna Gomez, let me remind you that you're sitting in MY apartment," she said, calming my rage.
"All right, then... I'm leaving." "I have no idea why I came here in the first place."
I stood up, blabbering nonstop, only to be dragged back to my seat.
"Just calm down and pay close attention to what I'm saying," she said suddenly, which is unusual!
"Ask him to decline the offer," she said solemnly.
"What exactly do you mean?" My brows knitted in perplexity.
"Look, Sia, only your father has the power to force you into this marriage." He can't make him. Meet him and tell him the truth: you are trapped in a situation in which neither you can deny your father's last wish nor marry him. I believe he will understand and decline this marriage on his own. When your father gets to know that Aldrich is unwilling to marry you, he will undoubtedly change his mind."
My body was still as my mind was completely focused on registering her words. When I realized what she was trying to say, I reacted.
"This is a good idea." My lips curled into a small smile.
"However, I will still say that you are passing up a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
I stooped down and jumped on her, intending to kill her, but she was too quick to flee...
I unlocked my phone to message him, and my phone pinged at the same time. When I saw that the message was only from him, my jaw dropped.

Aldrich's POV
I was deep in thought when someone barged ruthlessly into my cabin. Who the hell dared to enter without first seeking permission?
I guess one more employee is going to get fired today.
In rage, I slammed my hand on the table, and the items above it jumped into their places in terror.
"Calm down, my angry bird. "This is Peter Addison, your best friend."
"How many times do I have to tell you not to walk into my cabin without knocking?" "This isn't an amusement park where you can come whenever you want," I sneered.
"No! For me, this is a zoo and you are its chief animal, Lion" he cackled.
"What in the world do you expect from me?" I roared, ready to devour him.
"Your money," he joked.
"I don't give out money to beggars." "Get the fuck out of here!" I yelled.
"OK, OK," he surrendered, raising his hands. "But why are you sounding so enraged today?"
I chose to ignore him.
"You are looking all red today. "Are you sitting on a raging fire or what?" In a calm tone, he inquired.
"That's none of your business," I snarled.
"You're forgetting that I'm your best friend, and we agreed to share everything," he said.
"I don't recall taking such an oath," I argued.
He clenched his lips into a thin line and looked at me, perplexed.
"Ok! "I'm telling you," I huffed, closing the laptop and the file I was working on, and removing my glasses.
"Dad called me last night while I was staying in a hotel..."
"I know, I know! By looking at your irritated face, I deduced that you did not receive a proper release last night. "No problem, I can arrange one for you right now, right here," he said confidently.
In frustration, I closed my eyes and took deep breaths to avoid punching my so-called best friend in the face.
"What? You didn't like the idea?" He was curious.
"I'm not going to tell you anything. You are nothing more than a pain in the a$$. I'm already tense; if you want to get back on your feet, leave RIGHT NOW!" When I barked at him, he flinched at his position.
"Oh! "I guess there's a serious problem!" He mumbled something.
"Richie..." he exclaimed.
"Don't aggravate me, Peter. Stop calling me Richie, we're no longer kids!" I injected myself.
"All right, let's get serious. "Now tell me what the problem is," he inquired solemnly.
"Dad wants me to marry," I explained.
"What!" His mouth dropped open.
"With Sianna Gomez," my face grimaced as I took her name on my lips.
"The one who is currently employed by your company," he begged.
I gave a nod.
"The one who is our childhood friend," he inquired further.
I nodded once more.
"Oh my God," he exclaimed, his face beaming with delight, "I remember how possessive you were about Sia when we were kids." You never let any other boy, including me, get close to her."
"I was a kid at the time." I no longer like her. Her standard is extremely low. "I can't make her my wife," I admitted.
"But, she has matured into a lovely young lady." You have no idea how many boys are interested in her."
"But, I am not one of them. I'm not going to marry a girl who can't give me money. You are already aware that I am in a relationship with Deliah and intend to marry her."
When I mentioned Deliah, he scowled. He despises her.
"Yeah! I know that bit..." With one look from me, he came to a halt in the middle of his journey.
"I mean, what's the problem? Go tell your father you want to marry Deliah."
"Do you think I haven't tried to persuade my father?"
He shook his head.
"He is not ready to listen to me because he has already spoken to Sianna's father without even asking me, and now he is determined to bind me to that nerd." He has threatened to donate the remainder of the business to trust if I do not do as he says."
"Then let him donate," he shrugged, "because if you marry Deliah, she will bring you a lot of money."
"No, I can't let the rest of the business slip through my fingers." Deliah's father's business has ceased operations. They are wealthy, but their business will not grow in the future. On the other hand, my father's business will expand at a faster rate in the coming years. It will function similarly to a money-printing machine. I don't want to lose even a single dime. "I want it all." My desire for money is insatiable, and he is well aware of this.
"Then? Are you going to marry that sweet, innocent girl who is just opposite to your taste?" With a slew of questions in his eyes, he inquired.
"I'm thinking about something else," I said, staring into the distance.
"What?" he inquired.
I picked up my phone and texted her, ignoring his question.
'meet me at 7:00 p.m. sharp.'
Sianna's POV The moment I received his message, I headed back towards my home and got ready for the meet-up. And with the help of the cab, I reached my destination on time. He asked me to meet him at 7:00 PM sharp but it is now half an hour past the decided time and there is no trace of him. I am waiting for him like an idiot, cutting my time by scrolling down the social media feed. My head moved up as the sound of the clicking of boots against the marble floor reached my ear and I found him walking towards me with his hands in his pants pocket. As he owns this restaurant so the staff greeted and welcomed him like he is a God. They were shivering like a leaf in front of him. And they are not wrong on their part because this man is so heartless that he doesn't think twice before spoiling the career of others. He was being followed by two bodyguards as if I am going to kill him. This is after years I have got the chance to see him from this clos
Sianna's POV "Sia, promise me you'll tell me every detail of your first night with that luscious hunk," Lily exclaimed as she handed me the earrings. "I'm telling you for the hundredth time that nothing will happen the way you're thinking!" While wearing those diamond earrings, I imparted. We wanted a simple wedding because it is nothing more than a compromise for us, but Aldrich's father insisted on us looking presentable because it is his only son's wedding. Aldrich has persuaded him not to invite anyone, so there will be a very small number of people. Mr. Edward Lionel, Aldrich's father, has given me the dress and jewelry as a gift for his daughter-in-law, and Lily is assisting me with the makeup. He has kept the wedding in his hotel, which is heavily guarded, so that no paparazzi can intrude on our privacy. "You mean to say that things are going to be beyond my imagination? Oh my goodness! I can't wait until tomorrow morning "She dreamily
Sianna's POV After dinner, uncle Edward asked my father if he could take me to their house. My father agreed and blessed me with a happy married life, which I know is impossible when my husband is Mr. Aldrich Lionel. Still, I smiled to please my father. After saying our goodbyes to my father and Lily, we made our way outside, where the driver opened his car door and, to my surprise, Aldrich waited for me to enter first. I sat in the seat's corner, and Aldrich quickly followed me with his infamous neutral expressions and ice-cold yet dark eyes. The journey was silent, with neither of us saying anything. I took a deep breath and looked out the window as the cold wind hit my face, allowing my hair strands to move freely. For a split second, I thought Aldrich was staring at me, but when I tilted my head to his side, I discovered him busy with his phone. I looked straight after brushing the thought away. After a while, the car
Sianna's POV "You're right, it's our first night, and we should make the most of it..." His expression darkened and became completely indecipherable, terrifying me to the core. "...Or should we?" And the moment he took one intimidating step towards me, time stood still! I took one step back, holding my gown tightly to my chest, with equal speed and space. He took another step towards me, his gaze fixed on mine, forcing me to take another step back. This continues until my almost naked back hits the cold bathroom tiles. The unusually large bathroom suddenly appears to be very small and hot. His right hand lifted, and my gaze followed it until it came to rest at the side of my head; his left hand mirrored the action, and my gaze followed it as well until I was encased between his arms. As our eyes met, my chest heaved up and down, my breathing became uneven, and my heart began to drum in my chest as I became nervous due to
Sianna's POV My tongue moistened my lips as I became anxious all of a sudden, as if his eyes flickered down and stopped at my lips every time. "Stop doing this," he said, his gaze fixed on my lips. "Stop doing what?" My voice was so low that it barely reached my own ears when I inquired. Without responding to my question, he closed his eyes tightly and took a sharp, audible breath before leaping out of bed, creating a safe distance between us as if I were a deadly disease. What was he asking me to put a stop to? Because if I know, I'll do it frequently to irritate him even more. I relaxed as he approached the door, and my t-shirt hiked up due to pandiculation. I smelled exactly like him! It's time to start over! ———————————- I stepped down after getting ready because one of the maids came to summon me for breakfast. This is when my eyes were drawn to the beauty of the mansion, as they had been too focused
Sianna's POV "Lion," I heard a feminine voice say; she was the intruder who didn't even ask permission before barging in. "Hello, my Deliah Darling," Aldrich said as he approached her with open arms. "How are you?" By looking at the girl, his voice implied how happy he is. He was not speaking to her in a rude manner, as he does to me and other people. "Overwhelmed," she said. "What happened?" He was curious. "You're asking me what happened after you've done everything?" "Are you serious, Aldrich?" she folded her arms across her chest. She was still oblivious to my presence in the room because her mind was too preoccupied with Aldrich. "You're calling me Aldrich, which means the situation is very serious," he mumbled. "Have a seat, we can talk, you know," he offered her a seat. The way Aldrich treats her demonstrates that this girl means something to him; perhaps she is one of those people he admires.
Sianna's POV Shrugging my shoulders and allowing the couple their privacy, I turned on my heels, only to collide with a pillar and land on the floor once more. Why everything good is happening with me today! I rubbed my brow and nose and looked up to see a man instead of a pillar staring down at me. While I was trying to recognize his face, the man was staring at me from head to toe, examining something. He looks familiar, but I can't place him; he's somewhere in the back of my mind, but where? "Are you having trouble recognizing me?" He knelt to my level and extended his hand for assistance. He added, "Rapunzel." Oh! It finally clicked! "Pitter-patter" My face lit up, and I stood up with the help of his hand. "Thank God, I thought you'd forgotten about me," he mocked. "No, it's just that we're meeting after fourteen years and your appearance has completely changed, so... you know..." I told him wh
Sianna's POV "Sia, go get ready," dad said politely, a smile on his lips. I was in a good mood because I had just gotten home from the hospital, and seeing my father all happy and recovering lifted my spirits as well. Aldrich has been furious with me since the day he found out I met Peter. He has crushed me under the weight of work, partly because he is still angry that I am working with him, and partly because he does not want me to meet anyone. Although his lips did not move to say anything that day, his eyes threatened me not to meet Peter again. As if I'm going to listen to him! Huh! We were having our evening tea when Dad abruptly asked me to get ready. Not only was I perplexed, but so was Aldrich. As a result, he asked me a question. "Why?" "You forgot you had to go to the charity gala dinner today. You were looking forward to this event because there would be a plethora of prospects to pursue who could assist you i
