"But we cannot give him to you just like that!" The leader said with blank expressions.

"I am ready to give you everything, jewelry, land, money, equipment, men, just tell me what do you want?" Aldrich asked. 

The lips of the leader that were pressed into a thin line quirk up and he patted Aldrich's shoulder twice.

Aldrich and Peter shared a look of confusion. I was also not able to discern his words but my eyes were not ready to move away from Rian. I wanted him to be in my arms as soon as possible.
