Shakar stood still, he couldn’t believe that Lizzy had the audacity to question him. He was here wasting his precious time he could have used studying to convince her to go home with him, Jace on the other hand was silent, he was watching the scene in front of him unfold, he was curious to know who Lizzy was to Shakar.

Everyone at school knew about his father’s remarriage but they didn’t know he had a step sister. Shakar without second thought grabbed her things from the table and shoved them into her bag, he also grabbed her hand tight ready to drag her out himself.

“Let go” Lizzy cried out trying to break free from him but Shakar held unto her tightly. He was tired of her bullshit and didn’t care if she was getting hurt.

“She said let her go” Jace finally broke his silence holding Shakar’s arm, separating him from Lizzy, he stared at Shakar whose anger increased, Jace was beginning to get to him but he made a promise to his late mother never to fight.

“None of this is your business,
