Chapter 9

It has been a few weeks since Axios left the house, and I haven't laid eyes on him ever since. I guess he meant business this time around.

I was a prisoner in this god-forsaken mansion, with guards watching my every step. The days went by in agonizing slowness, and I only had Kiara to keep me company.

No one knew what he wanted from me or why he bought me at the auction, but I have concluded that he acquired me just to bore me to death.

I fall asleep and wake up every morning alone, and tired of the day already. I didn't know what was wrong with me, something deep down kept longing for his return,

Am I craving to hear his deep voice even for just a second, or am I just stupid? I found myself glued to the window, hoping he would drive in any minute.

I was assigned two guards who followed me almost everywhere, except the bathroom, of course. I guess my little escape stuff and wandering around the house earned me the guards.
