Teenage Infatuation

Lunch hour, around Twelve-thirty-something.

Through the hall pathway, Blue strolled with two people into the school cafeteria, chatting casually with them. These two people were the interns she had begun acquainting with since the week before — a hottie named Eva and a foreigner named André. Eva was a biology intern while André was for French.

Blue was by the right side as the three proceeded to the counter to get what they would eat. They each added a can of diet coke to their meals before they chose to sit in a corner of the cafeteria.

Right from when they had gone into the cafeteria 'til now, the eyes of the various male students in the cafeteria had for once not left the group. The group seemed to be a normal one but who could tear his eyes off an attractive lady like Blue or a down-to-earth hottie like Eva? But the funny thing was the group didn't notice any of such stares as they chatted lightly while eating.

Eventually, Eva was the first to notice the stares being directed at them. She couldn't help but giggle as she commented, "Seems you've got 'em high school boys tripping for you," She spoke out in an informal type of English as she shifted the center of direction to Blue.

Blue caught up with what she was saying as she looked up to notice what seemed to be like sneak peeks aiming constantly at them. But she discerned through Eva's comment. She wasn't the only one seated so why should she be the only person to be attached with such claim?

"What do you mean by that? I'm not the only being seated here remember?" she asked with furrowed eyebrows.

Eva smiled. "But remember you're the only attractive being here..."

Blue released a scoff as she reached out for the canned coke. "Stop belittling yourself... you're making me wonder if my eyesight has gone wrong to be able to discern any sort of attractiveness," She popped open the can and inserted a straw into it, while sneaking a peak at Eva.

Truth be told, she felt Eva was merely trying to sing her appraisal. Looking at Eva, a wonderful facials with a delicate body was made revealing. Even her twin peaches which went in line with her body structure, unlike her regulars, brought out the real hot dying for quality. Asides her face which looked gentler than Eva's, there wasn't anything extraordinary about her, to her. So, why on earth would she be the centre of attraction when Eva was seated in glory? At least, that's what she thought...

"Stop denying the obvious, Blue..." Eva raised her fork in the air as she chewed down the food in her mouth.

"I refuse to agree," Blue countered.

"Are you okay with the situation?" The man named André, who had been quiet for awhile, suddenly asked in a foreign tone.

Blue had just taken a long sip out of the coke, so she put the can down and replied, "I don't think I should be bothered, should I?"

André shook his head in response and continued with his meal.

But there was something Blue was certainly unaware of... something she was oblivious about. She had become the ongoing topic among each students in the school. Why? Her extraordinary features stood out among the rest.

Although in her early twenties, her body still carried the structure of a teenager's, leaving one in total disbelief of her real age. Another extraordinary thing were her pair of blue eyes which were a rare sight as it was an uncommon thing. Most of the boys had at one time or the other had infatuating visions about confessing their love to her and ending up with her, but they were obviously scared to even make a single approach.

But seeing as Blue was getting the attention of almost everyone in the school, a group of female students weren't pleased with it. Who was she? And why would she just steal the limelight all of a sudden? They needed to do something to end this new pest among them...

...

In a corner of the cafeteria, three girls could be seen seated together while eating. They were Laura, Ashley and Stephanie.

"Is that the intern you've been talking about? The attractive lady with the young face?" Laura asked as she put a spoonful into her mouth, her chin being directed to where three figures were sitting.

"Uhn uhn," Ashley nodded her head in affirmation due to the food particles in her mouth.

"But why are they all staring at her that way?" Laura observed the stares of almost every student being directed at the intern's table.

"I think that's the same thing we're doing," Ashley replied with a teasing smirk.

Laura rolled her eyes at her annoying best friend. "Don't use the literal sense... just answer my question."

"Aren't you aware of the discussions about her among the students?" Ashley inquired.

"But I thought that was just mere gossip," Laura chipped in.

"Well, welcome to reality!" Ashley spread her hands out in a welcoming manner and giggled.

Ignoring Ashley, Laura shifted her gaze to the silent Stephanie who seemed to be less socializing these days. "Aren't you going to say something, Steph?"

Stephanie looked up and her hazel eyes landed on Laura's face. "I have no comment regarding what you guys are talking about," She shrugged her shoulders as she handled the fork in her hand awkwardly.

Laura sneered at her. "You're such a bore,"

"Thank you," Stephanie immediately got back to eating.

Turning back to face Ashley, Laura spoke, "On a serious note, I think the intern's really pretty," For a beauty like Laura to regard the intern as being pretty then that proved the fact that she indeed was.

"Yup," Ashley licked her lips. "If I were a guy, I probably might be drooling over her right now. It's no wonder why the male students seem unable to take their eyes off her. Look at the other intern sitting with her, I think she's kinda hot, don't you think?"

"I think so too," Laura replied.

"Imagine having those two pair of beauties as your girlfriend," Lost in her imaginary world, Ashley subconsciously licked her lips as she fantasized a bit.

Stephanie suddenly halted, her hand hanging in midair. She turned her head to face the dazed Ashley. "Can you please not do that?"

Ashley snapped out of it and looked at Stephanie. "What?"

"You know what I'm talking about," Stephanie replied and put the fork into the meal, turning her attention back to the food.

Ashley's face flushed. Of course she knew what Stephanie was talking about. Her seeming habit of subconsciously getting lost in her dreamy thoughts. To suppress the awkwardness she was feeling, she coughed softly.

Then something surprising happened. The intern they were initially talking about suddenly stood up with the other two she was sitting with. They all headed to the direction of the entrance and went out of the cafeteria. Normal right? But could the gazes of the male students who had their eyes fixed on her 'til she got out be considered normal? Hell No!

...

Eva put a hand over her mouth to suppress the laughter that was about to erupt out of her mouth soon as they got out of the cafeteria. As she watched the event of things while they were about leaving the cafeteria, she couldn't help but wonder. She had only one conclusion in mind: This teenage infatuation is so insane!
