CHAPTER 9

"Desi come here!" Lara yelled as Desi ran away from her. She tried to walk to her but was slow. Her injuries still hurt.

"No, I want to be with Sir Brad and Sir Cage," Desi replied stubbornly causing Lara to halt in her footsteps. Was that the reason she was trying to run away? She frowned.

Desi didn't understand and she wasn't going to explain it to her. She was too young. Lara sighed. Desi also stopped running and stood by the side.

Lara was confused. It was going to be hard, running away from this palace. She didn't like it. While she was grateful for their help, she didn't want to stay any minute longer.

The healer that came to check up on her advised her not to move much or else she'll tear his stitches. His stitches were very bad actually but it didn't matter to him. If she wanted to heal any faster then she will do as he said.
