CHAPTER 17

Cage came out of his room to see Ted outside, waiting for him.

"Where is Brad?" He asked angrily.

"He just finished a meeting with some elders so he should be in the throne room." Cage immediately took long strides to the throne room with his guards following behind him.

This was a situation that required not just his but also Brad's interference. Their mate won't be safe if things keep going on like this.

While he wasn't in support of their mate bond, there was nothing he could do but accept it. After all, Brad had accepted her without her knowing.

The throne room was open with two guards standing beside it. "Your Majesty," they both bowed as he walked past them into the room.

Brad wasn't expecting Cage so soon. He was surprised to see him coming inside with rage in his eyes. What has gone wrong?

"Cage, I didn't know you were coming," Brad said as he stood up from his seat. Cage's expression made him apprehensive.

"Well, I didn't plan on coming back immediately." Cage stopped
