Chapter 49. Leaving Flyod

According to Kevin, Fay was looking glum today. Although the girl smiled occasionally and laughed along with Kevin's joke. It didn't make the dark clouds in her eyes fade. The beautiful eyes that were usually bright were now like a stormy sky. When Fay threw out a sentence, Kevin knew that there was a problem.

"Can you find me a job?" Fay said after finishing half her breakfast.

Kevin glanced at the contents of her plate and remembered that Fay never left any food. He took a sip of water from the glass before speaking.

"Do you have a problem with Mr. Goldwin?" Kevin asked suspiciously.

Fay laughed at Kevin's question. "I did have a problem with that villain from the beginning. No, I didn't. That's not why. I'm just a little bored. You know, I don't like kids. Being a nanny is like a punishment. I just didn't have any other choice at the time."

"I can get you a job. But does Mr. Goldwin know that you want to quit? He must not like it."

"I'll tell him," Fay said quickly.
