The moon hung low and heavy in the night sky, its pale light filtering through the canopy of trees as Lucas stalked through the dark Jungle. They were still docked and he was feeling restless.

He shouldn't be out here, not tonight. The risk was too great with the moon nearing its peak, the beast within threatening to take control. But Lucas needed to stay away, when she was on the ship.
