Galileo immediately wanted to get up from the stretcher and pounce on her, but the pain in his waist was too great. He could only stand still, while his gaze was fixed ominously on the woman who stabbed him.

Meanwhile, in the seventh floor VIP room, a man sat on the couch beside the bed, looking at an unconscious old man lying on a gurney.

Seth had gone to visit his grandfather, the man who had raised him. But, sadly, the man had suffered a stroke and was completely immobilised.

Seth always thought it had all happened by accident, but they soon discovered that it had been caused intentionally. Seth hoped that one day his grandfather would wake up and the truth would come out.

At the silence in the room he saw, the door to the room opened and Luke walked in with a couple of documents in his hands. "Mr. Ricaurte, here is the contract Mr. Castle signed. It's missing his signature."

As Lucas spoke, Seth took the contract and flipped through it. Nodding, he signed the contract and handed it back.

"One other thing...when I left Mr. Castle's room, I saw the lady from last night go to see him" Lucas said after some hesitation.

"Interesting. What happened to the information I asked you for?" Seth asked intrigued.

"I looked into it. The Flaming family did some business with Mr. Castle six years ago. Apparently the man did some shady dealings in the past," Lucas hinted.

"Well, do you know who the woman in the contract is?"

"She's a girl the Flaming family searched for a long time and spent a lot of money on. But now she lives abroad with her husband and children", Lucas added.

After saying that, Lucas paused a little and sighed, "Mr. Ricaurte, I also found out that the Flaming family did a couple of nefarious things in the past, they seem to have taken refuge in the company of their family.

"I understand," Seth said with a frown.

Lucas couldn't understand what was going through Seth's mind at the moment. Even though Ruby was Seth's fiancée, he was used to giving the Flaming a lot of trust.

However, Seth never showed any interest in Ruby; in fact, their engagement was just social etiquette that never materialised.

After a moment of silence, Seth sighed deeply, "I need you to keep an eye on the Flaming."

Attending, Lucas seemed to understand what Seth was thinking.

"What else about that woman last night?" -Seth asked.

"No record of her could be found. It seems that someone is hiding her identity. All we know is that she arrived in town yesterday and her name is Candace."

Upon hearing that name, Seth immediately began to search his memory for her. "Candace, Candace," he repeated over and over in faint murmurs.

Almost 10 years ago, he met a girl named Candace. In fact, it was her first time at Flaming Manor, the girl was locked in the basement with hunger and her body battered.

At the time she said nothing. With her blank stare and exhausted body, he could understand her pleas. Quickly Seth gave her something to drink and handed her a chocolate he carried in his pocket....

It was only after she had eaten that the girl finally came to her senses.

"Who are you?" Seth asked

"Candace" the little girl replied with chapped lips and bright, glassy eyes.

Hearing her, Seth's heart broke and he quickly forced the Flaming to release her. After that, Seth returned to the mansion a couple of times, but never saw little Candace again.

At that instant, Seth opened his eyes and stopped remembering. He quickly got up from the couch and, without a word, left the room.
