Chapter nine

"Oh God vicky! Who was that guy?!" Wendy asked pointing at the spot where Jaycob's car was parked a minute ago.

She was giving me that knowing look while wiggling her eyebrow at me.

"He's just a friend nothing special," I brushed her off equally looking at the spot.

A smile escaped my lips as I instinctively touched my cheek and remembered how warm and soft his hand was and that kiss.

A gasp coming from besides me caught my attention, I looked at Wendy and she was smiling from ear to ear.

"He's your boyfriend, isn't he? I knew there was something going on between you two! Yes my friend will finally get eaten!"

"Wendy!" I covered her mouth as she let out muffled giggles while giving me that knowing look.

"of course not! I've only know him for a few days and I've got no intention of sleeping with him!"

She removed my hand from her mouth and said,

"I know that look honey, and you can't lie to me, you are a terrible liar and most importantly, you wear your emotions on your sleeve
