Chapter eleven

I looked at him in disbelief while taking the pass from him.

How can he drop the boom on me just like that, without any warning?!

"Please do say hi to your mother for me and I hope and pray that your father will get better soon,"

"Um my my dad is in the hospital but---- who attacked him?" I asked sitting back on the chair as my legs felt weak.

I don't like dad because of what he did to me this morning but that doesn't mean I would like to see him get hurt.

And why would someone attack in broad day light? Did he perhaps cross paths with a mafia boss or something? Wait that's not possible, this is the real world. There is no such thing as the mafia.

"I'm sorry Victoria, would like me to drop you off at home?" The principal offered and I shook my head getting up from the seat.

"Thank you, I will be on my way now, "

Without another word, I left the office closing the door behind me.
