“Oh my. I didn't notice you were standing there.” I said shyly, and he just looked at me, smiled faintly and turned around.

“Breakfast will soon be served.” I said, following him.

“It's fine, I'll skip breakfast today. I have an urgent meeting to attend to.” He replied and I was sincerely surprised because on a normal day, he doesn't give a damn about me. Even when I try to talk to him, he'll just shut me off but here he was telling me that he had a meeting and would skip breakfast.

“Did you hear what I said?” He asked me and I snapped back out of my thoughts.

“Yes, Yes, I heard you.” I replied and right then, Kelvin walked in.

“Good morning, ma'am.” He greeted me with a smile, making Sorin raise his eyebrows as he looked at the both of us.
