CHAPTER 96

"My mother?" Sienna was confused.

"You know my mother?" Her voice was full of disbelief.

I didn't think this was a great time to break the news to her. I caught movement in the doorway and I saw Agnia waiting to be called.

"Agnia" Rome called her from the doorway and she strode inside.

I looked at Sienna to take in her reaction to the news. So many emotions crossed her face at the same time. Hurt, regret, disbelief and finally settled on anger.

"You're my mother?" She questioned.

"Yes my child" Agnia reached for her but she moved away quickly.

"You aren't dead? Or sick or anything. You're healthy and alive"

"Yes," Agnia cried.

"You left me" sienna's tone was accusing.

"All my life.....you never came to find me"

"I wanted to. Believe me, I really wanted to but I couldn't. Thorne would have had me killed the moment I stepped foot onto his land"

"You never tried"

Agnia hung her head in shame.

"You didn't even try to get me"

"I'm sorry" she mumbled.

"Why didn't you run away with me too?"
