Chapter Twenty: The Senior's Building

She snitched a glance at the figure. It stood still there; the wind making its hair strands fly. She immediately closed her eyes and focused on the path.

Seniors…. She thought they were the headmaster’s soldiers…. But they weren’t.

What makes this senior warn her? Is it she knew everything or served as an obstacle? If that is so, her disguise won’t work.

I raised my feet even higher to increase my pace. Pebbles flew as I run over them. My gaze darkened, my lip locked. Something is going to happen, and it will come soon.

I slowed when I saw the group. My run turned into a walk, my arms swinging at my side. Everyone was quiet, walking with spaces against each other.

The wind blows at the group isolated with a line of trees. The skies were misty, and you can feel a slight shiver down your spine. My feet stopped when I raised my head. Clouds break up and a ray of sunlight came in.
