Nina gave a perplexed look to Easton after listening to him.

“Why?” Nina asked, feeling utterly confused. Why would he not attend his own parents’ wedding anniversary celebrations? Nina had completely forgotten about what Cain had told her about his uncle and his family relations with them but Easton reminded it to her.

“He has stopped attending family functions and gatherings after….” Easton paused but Nina understood everything. She looked at Riccardo and her heart clenched, seeing that helplessness emerging in that father’s eyes who could do nothing to make his son happy again.
