Alessandro’s POV

“And we're here.” Catherine cheered, as I pulled the car into the driveway.

We were currently in Canada to attend Rita's wedding, and to also visit her mother's grave.

Catherine and I had decided to stay at her house throughout our stay in Canada, mainly because we never had the chance to visit it, during our last visit here.

“So, what do you think?” She asked, as we trekked into the magnificent, medieval structure.

The house was gargantuan and far more exotic than I'd initially thought it would be. It had door to ceiling windows coupled with white, marbled walls, and an opulent aura.

“It's nice,” I said, threading our hands together. “Very nice. You must have really put a lot of work into renovating it.”

“Yes, I did,” She beamed. “I didn't want it to lose any of its initial design, and I'm glad it came out better than I thought.”
